Arthur Miller's The Crucible

The Crucible tells the story of a small community caught up in the grip of mass hysteria.

Arthur Miller's Tony-award-winning play parallels the Salem Witch hunts of 1693 with the American anti-communist purges led by Senator McCarthy in the 1950s.

Considered one of the greatest American plays of the 20th Century, The Crucible is a must-see play for anyone studying or simply interested in great theatre.

It will be presented for eight performances only by 3rd Year students on the UClan Acting Degree course.
