Chew's Yard

Chew's Yard is the latest addition to complement the city's cultural offering. This all-encompassing arts, culture and entertainment venue, set within a fresh industrial space, packs in a refreshing independent punch, which is sure to have you wanting more.

Expect an amazing food and drink hall, plus a host of talented artists, craft-people and photographers selling an assortment of creative items. On top of that, enjoy an exciting line-up of live music, DJs, family-friendly events and engaging creative sessions.

What's more, their beautiful south facing landscaped garden courtyard with outdoor bar is the place to be on warm days - a perfect suntrap to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat from noon until night.

About the area

Chew's Yard is situated next to Preston Playhouse, just a short walk from Lost Bar and Pizzeria and Chain House Brewery in the former Walkers Windows warehouse. It is the next piece in Ben Casey's vision for creating a new cultural destination on Market Street West. The destination is called Market Street Social and will blend cultural activities with food, drink and entertainment.
