Preston's New Cultural and Entertainment Venue

Exciting news for Preston residents and visitors alike! Preston City Council is delighted to announce the opening of The Guild Lounge, a vibrant new space within The Guild Hall.

The revitalised venue will be host to a diverse programme of events running from October 2024 through to March 2025.

From live music performances by well-known artists to classical concerts, fringe theatre productions, and a regular comedy club, there's something for everyone. Including fun family-friendly entertainment and festive shows, while the community performances and unique one-off events ensure there's always something new to experience.

What makes The Guild Lounge truly special is its intimate seating capacity of 350, offering a cozy yet versatile space that connects artists and audiences.

The programming has been carefully curated by an experienced industry team, guaranteeing top-notch performances and a spotlight for local talent.

Starting in October, you can expect weekly events from Thursday to Saturday, with additional exciting shows during school half-term weeks. This means there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy live entertainment, whether you're a local or just visiting.
